Product Description
Sanchirio Palomar is located in the Junin region, Chanchamayo province, of the central jungle of Peru; region well known for a tradition of excellent coffees. They have been a cooperative since 2004, though their work had started in 2001 under the ECOMUSAS, or Empresas Comunales de Servicios Agropecuarios, which had a wider agricultural focus. This cooperative started with 34 members, and as of 2007 they now have 139 growers. Farmers in this region depend on agriculture, specifically growing coffee.
Varietal: Typica, Bourbon, Caturra.
Elevation: 2,200 m.
Harvest Season: Apr – Nov.
In the cup: Expect casava like body and appealing cane sugar sweetness.
